Selecting subject, composition, color and characteristics of the materials will start this course so it is suitable for beginning painters. Some drawing ability or prior painting experience is helpful. Judith has designed the course so that beginning painters will keep the cost of buying quality paints within limits by using a simple palette. This palette makes color mixing easier and paintings more successful. The smaller kit allows easier outdoor plein air painting excursions. Recommended materials list available at the School. Materials, including canvases, may be purchased at The Art Store at School at a discounted price.
