T-105: INTERMEDIATE POTTERY: PITCHERS, VASES, AND WOOD-FIRING

Mondays and Thurdays, 6:15 – 8:15 p.m.
April 1 - May 2 (with a wood-firing of student and instructor work planned near conclusion of the class)
TUITION: $160, plus the cost of clay used ($25 per block)
While intermediate and advanced techniques in throwing will be taught, this class also offers an insight into glaze chemistry and kiln maintenance and usage. Students will be using two different types of clay, mid-fire and high-fire, to produce pottery fired in oxidation and reduction atmospheres. Class is limited to five participants.
